Refund and Return Policy

1. Scope and Applicability

This policy governs the refunds and returns for all services offered by LEARN IT, including in-person classes, live streaming sessions, courses, and workshops. By enrolling or purchasing our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.

LEARN IT is legally protected and is committed to handling your data and privacy with the highest level of security and confidentiality.

2. Definitions

  • Service: Any in-person class, live streaming session, course, or workshop offered by LEARN IT.
  • Purchase/Enrollment: The transaction through which a user acquires one of our services.
  • Refund: A full or partial return of the amount paid.
  • Return: The process of canceling a service and requesting a refund, exchange, or credit where applicable.
  • Request Period: The time frame established for requesting a refund, counted from the date of enrollment or service commencement.

3. General Conditions for Refunds and Returns

To ensure fairness to both LEARN IT and our valued users, refund and return requests must meet the following conditions:

  • The service must not have been fully utilized. For in-person classes and live streaming sessions, the refund or return request must be made before the start of the session or within the first 2 hours after the session begins.
  • For courses and workshops, if any portion of the content has been accessed or the service has commenced, only a partial refund may be issued. This ensures that users receive fair value without compromising the operational costs of LEARN IT.
  • Refund or return requests must be submitted within 14 days from the date of enrollment or the start of the service.
  • The right of withdrawal applies to the extent permitted by applicable law. Exceptions include personalized or live services where last-minute cancellations affect the scheduling and planning of the session.

4. Procedure for Requesting a Refund or Return

  1. Notification:

  2. Evaluation:

    Once we receive your request, our team will evaluate your case and respond within 5 business days with a decision regarding your refund or return request.

  3. Return Instructions:

    If your request is approved, we will provide detailed instructions on how to proceed with the cancellation and refund process, including any applicable administrative fees.

  4. Refund Processing:

    After your request is processed, the refund will be issued via the same payment method used during the purchase within 7 business days.

  5. Alternative Options:

    At our discretion, LEARN IT may offer an exchange for a similar service or a store credit instead of a cash refund.

5. Partial Refunds and Deductions

Partial refunds may be applied in cases where:

  • The service has been partially utilized (e.g., a course or workshop has already begun).
  • Administrative or cancellation fees apply, which will be deducted from the total refundable amount.

6. Specific Cases and Exceptions

  • In-Person Classes and Live Streaming Sessions: Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled start. Requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur fees or be ineligible for a refund.
  • Courses and Workshops: Once content is accessed or the service has commenced, refunds are limited to a partial refund, unless exceptional circumstances (such as force majeure) are verified.
  • Personalized Services: For services tailored specifically to individual needs, refunds will only be considered if there is a failure to deliver as agreed.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute regarding this policy, both LEARN IT and the user agree to:

  • Direct Negotiation: Attempt to resolve the issue through direct and good-faith negotiations.
  • Mediation/Arbitration: If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, the matter may be submitted to mediation or arbitration in accordance with Dominican Republic law.
  • Jurisdiction: This policy is governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, and any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

8. Modifications to this Policy

LEARN IT reserves the right to modify or update this Refund and Return Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this webpage and, if necessary, communicated to our users. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
